Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Holland

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was super friendly. The person who prepared our breakfast was personable and made good suggestion for places to eat later in the day. The location was just right for us being close to downtown, trips north to visit friends, Macatawa Lake, and Lake Michigan. The room was interesting and served our purposes.

Really a lovely rest over spot and perfect for nearby restaurants. Rooms are smaller than many Fairfields. Breakfast had many options abd well appreciated. Staff did all they could to handle unruly parents with wild children to took over the pool and spa and left messes all over Breakfast room. Does have spa and adult only hours but it starts at midnight rather than 9 or 10 pm. Can't blame staff for horrible customers, but demand a high floor.

I vacationed there in July 2025. The decor was a little older or slightly dated, but the room and bathroom were cleaned and maintained. They have a small pool and workout area inside. The breakfast offering was pretty good...waffles, scrambles eggs, sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy, oatmeal, cereal. Prices better than the Hampton and Holiday Inn Express around the corner, but not nearly as fancy. A basic hotel. I'd recommend staying there if you're not looking for frills.

Hotel is conveniently located in a suburban area with lots of chain, restaurants and shopping. But also it is a short drive from downtown Holland and beaches on Lake Michigan. The staff was extraordinarily friendly, especially Robert who took care of the complementary breakfast that included waffles, hot food, cereal, and pastries. The rooms were very clean. However, some people may find some of the carpet and furnishings a little dated, but housekeeping was excellent and was a nice place to stay.

Decent hotel, not a bad location, just a short drive to most of the locations. The staff were super friendly and helpful except for one girl. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. The pool was a little cold and took some time to adjust to it. The breakfast was good, hot, and fully stocked each morning. The beds were ok for the most part. And the air conditioner worked a little too well. We ended up Turing it off each night, and the room still stayed cool. We will definitely come back again the next time we come to town.

This Fairfield was very quiet and peaceful. The pool was still open even though the hot tub was not. The breakfast was late due to the employee not showing up, however the front desk gentleman still got my kiddos some breakfast items, which was very kind. Very nice people and staff.

We were in town for a weeknight wedding. Their staff did a FANTASTIC job of getting things ready for all the out-of-town guests rolling in. They had a high toilet seat and shower chair ready for the elderly grandparents, and made sure to put them on the first floor as requested. One room had non-working A/C, and a service tech came immediately to fix that. The staff were friendly and efficient. Thank you so much for helping our stay go smoothly!

Older hotel, but kept well. It has a small pool and jacuzzi. Rooms were decent, they kept things clean. Hot breakfast is served. No complaints. Travel around the immediate are us pretty easy.
